Causing Death by Careless Driving - Find out about the new law
Shropshire Advanced Motorists are asking for members' help in staffing our Mobile Display Unit at key events during the year.
A letter received from David Kenworthy after the 2008 Car Conference.
Note from the editor, Martyn Davies-Friend
Government plans for a blanket 50mph speed limit will not command respect unless drivers can see a clear link to crash risk, said the IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists) because there are places where it makes no sense to reduce the limit.
The law has changed recently in the main EU countries and most now insist on some compulsory equipment which they will enforce with fines, so here is a quick guide on what you should have and what you should consider. It's not a definitive guide and always check with the AA or IAM on what you need for a particular country.
These Shropshire Advanced Motorists members have recently passed their 'Skill for Life' test. Is your name here?!
