Notes From the Editor - Spring 2009
Note from the editor, Martyn Davies-Friend
Well even though the weather may not know it, Spring is officially here. We know it's here because you here the birds in the morning, the bulbs have come through the grass and the trees are showing signs of life. Then again the noise of lawnmowers, constant adverts for holidays and caravans on the motorways are a strong indication as well.
The cold snap kept us on our toes, both with our driving and with the checks we made on the car. I was amazed but not surprised by the number of incidents I saw through poor driving and lack of concentration through bad weather conditions, some people will just never learn except by their mistakes.
I did read an article though regarding a French driver who had a collision because he was not paying attention-this was due to looking at the 'ladies' he drove past on the south French coast-but not paying attention (at least on his driving) was also to blame.
So as none of us know what the weather has in mind for the next few weeks, please pay attention, not just to your driving but to other peoples.
Remember-the idiot is in the other car, not yours!
